What You Would Do at MedAlert

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring MedAlert’s sustainable growth in international markets. You will be responsible for strategic financial planning, risk management, and guiding the company’s financial future as we scale across multiple countries. You will work closely with the executive team to align financial goals with the overall business strategy, ensuring efficient resource allocation, compliance, and investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support the company’s expansion in international markets.
• Manage fundraising efforts and maintain relationships with investors.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop financial risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Provide insights on scaling operations in the USA, Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia.
• Manage cash flow, financial risk, and investment strategies to support rapid growth.
• Ensure the financial infrastructure supports long-term objectives, including cost control and efficient use of capital.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and efficiency in business operations.

Who We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, ideally in high-growth or startup environments.
• Proven experience with international markets, particularly in the USA and Latin America.
• Strong background in financial strategy, investor relations, and capital raising.
• Experience in managing rapid growth and expansion in a tech or healthcare-focused company.
• Deep understanding of financial compliance, risk management, and cost efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA/CFA preferred).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
